In the fall of 2013, 15 students came from all corners of the globe: Argentina, Austria, Brazil, China, France, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and Venezuela to learn English in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii. We all have different backgrounds and different families; we are different ages and have had different experiences; we have different reasons for learning English and we have different goals for our future; we have visited different places and we have experienced many different things. We came here as strangers and we are leaving as an ohana (Hawaiian word for family) spread across the world.
